This clinic offers both:
MSP-covered group medical visits
private-pay consultations and follow-ups
A referral is required for all visits.
MSP-Covered Services
Eligible patients may participate in MSP-covered Group Medical Visit (GMV) sessions. These are virtual sessions that provide structured education, self-management strategies, and multidisciplinary support.
Private-Pay Consultations
Initial Consultation (Typically 60-75 mins) – $350/hour, pro-rated to length of appointment
Follow-Up Visits (Typically 15-45 mins) – $350/hour, pro-rated to length of appointment
Private visits are billed at a standard hourly rate, reflecting the extended time required for comprehensive assessment, education, and personalized treatment planning.
Why Consultations Are Private-Pay
Private consultations are not covered by MSP because the type and length of visit required for comprehensive, education-focused, and whole-person care are not supported by existing MSP fee codes. Standard insured visits are designed for brief, focused issues and do not allow the extended time needed for thorough assessment, discussion, and planning (BC Ministry of Health & CIHI).
This model enables a different kind of care:
– Time to understand your full health history and context
– Space to explore root causes and interconnected systems
– Flexibility to address nutrition, lifestyle, and evidence-based strategies in detail
While not entirely MSP-covered, this approach makes it possible to create meaningful, sustainable change that standard appointment structures cannot support.
Accessibility & Equity
This clinic is committed to making evidence-based hormonal health care as accessible as possible. While private consultations are not covered by MSP, many patients transition into MSP-covered group education sessions (GEMS) after their initial visit. These sessions allow key information and support to be delivered to more women without financial barriers.
Reduced-rate consultations may be available for patients experiencing financial constraints. If cost is a barrier, please reach out—care should remain accessible to those who need it most.
